Function
1. Muscle growth is mainly achieved through the following aspects:
Provide essential nitrogen source for the body and promote protein synthesis in muscle cells; Promote the growth and differentiation of muscle cells through cell compatibilization; Stimulate the secretion of growth hormone, insulin and testosterone, so that the body is in a synthetic state.
2. Glutamine amide has strong effect.
Increase strength and endurance. During exercise, the increase of body acid metabolites acidifies body fluids. Glutamine has the potential to produce bases, so it can reduce the reduction of exercise ability or fatigue caused by acidic substances to a certain extent.
3. It is an important fuel for the immune system and can enhance the function of the immune system.
Glutamine plays an important role in immune regulation. It is necessary for lymphocyte secretion, proliferation and function maintenance. As the precursor and main energy of nucleic acid biosynthesis, glutamine can promote the mitosis, differentiation and proliferation of lymphocytes and macrophages, increase the production of cytokines TNF, IL-1 and phospholipid mRNA synthesis. Exogenous glutamine can significantly increase the total number of lymphocytes, T lymphocytes and the ratio of CD4 / CD8 in circulation in critically ill patients, and enhance the immune function of the body.
4. Participate in the synthesis of glutathione (an important antioxidant).
5. The basic energy source of gastrointestinal lumen cells.
